We've been out of the loop a lot lately, doing many fun things which we hope to share.
The first is a very simple activity using perspex coloured disks and a torch to teach colour mixing.
All you need is a torch and some perspex (or in our case, some plastic disks salvaged from a groovy bubble-bath with mood lighting). Shine the light through a primary colour, then add another on top of it to see which colour the light comes out. It's that simple. It's a perfect activity for a hot day - hide in a cool cupboard, garage or shed and play with the light. And no mess to clean up afterwards unlike mixing paint. Score!
