The Perfect Hug by Joanna Walsh and Judi Abbot is a current favourite of Daughter's. Documenting a small Panda's hunt for a hug that fits just right, this book is a lovely pre-bedtime read with lots of opportunity for actions and cuddles.
Daughter really seems to enjoy the bright illustrations, whilst I really like that there are lots of different animals, all given their proper names. For example, the boa-constrictor is inculded as a boa-constrictor rather than being referred to as a snake. The bear is a grisly, and so on...
There's not really much else to say about this - the charm is in the rhyme itself, and the myriad of cuddling opportunities it creates. One to try for yourselves.
