... sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through! Sleeping through!
10.30pm to 5.30am felt like heaven!
And I'm really enjoying weaning. It's so much fun to try to figure out things I can make which will include an element that Daughter can have. Tonight, I will be making stew for us and lentil and potato mash with carrot fingers for Daughter. I'm going to boil all kinds of pulses up in some saltless water, add potato, sweet potato and carrot fingers then fish out the veg. I'll leave the carrot as is so she can grab and nom, then blend the rest with a tablespoon of pulses.
We've also been having a lot of crumbles recently because I can stew different fruits and spoon some out for Baby Girl. When she hits 6 months, I will start offering her some of my porridge in a morning and enjoy making some banana sandwiches!
Today she had avocado and banana mush with cocoa in. It tasted so good that I must develop a desert using it.
Every day is getting to be more and more fun and those dark, early weeks are being left behind and forgotten. All the guilt I felt at putting Daughter on a bottle is gone. She is thriving and I couldn't be happier.
